The Nickels-Sortwell House
Our National Garden Club’s prize-winning "1930’s appropriate" gardens at the Nickels-Sortwell House in Wiscasset were restored in collaboration with Historic New England. White iris that were saved in a garden of a Sortwell descendent have been re-planted in the Nickels-Sortwell House Garden. Pink, white, blue, and purple dominate, with both perennials and annuals added each spring by members of the Club.
