GCW Plant Sale - Sat. May 9
Yes, it's time to start thinking about our Plant Sale. This is our 35th year!!! It's our biggest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds going to our scholarships and community gardens and projects. You are all expected to help in some way: donating plants, helping to pot, baking for the bake sale, helping set up or helping the day of the sale. We sell perennials, shrubs, and trees. Get DIRTY! March Seed Starting Workshop
The GCW General Meeting in March will be a hands-on seed starting workshop that Beth Maxwell and I will lead. March is a great time to start hot-climate vegetables and many annuals indoors. Giving these plants an early jump on the season so that they can go into your garden when the spring soil has warmed will yield strong plants and good crops.
