Our GCW Plant Sale will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026. It will be our 35th year for the sale- something to celebrate! It is held at the Wiscasset Town Office, and it's never too early to start praying for good weather so we can have it outside on the front lawn - we're due for good weather next year!
I know how dry it has been and that it is impossible to water all of our gardens. I would suggest doing your dividing next spring when digging will be easier. So right now, please take a look at your perennials, shrubs, and small trees to see which you might want to dig and donate to our sale next spring. I have been collecting some perennials this summer and have planted some in the ground for over wintering. For the plants in pots - I will take them out of their pots and plant them in my raised vegetable beds for the winter. I have much better luck that way. As always, please let me or Debbie Lorenson know if you need help digging next spring or have any questions. We will give you lots more information this coming winter about sign up sheets, potting dates, popular plants, etc.Â

The Plant Sale is our club's biggest fundraising event. The proceeds go to our scholarships and our community garden projects.Â
