On Thursday, September 17, members gathered at Melissa Thornton’s Bold Colorful Life home on Back River Road in Boothbay for a delightful "Gathering in the Garden" party celebrating our local pollinators! Attendees enjoyed a warm gathering out on Melissa's river view deck, taking in the serene surroundings and exploring her vibrant garden art displays. Guests refreshed themselves with delicious wild honey lemonade and shared scrumptious and nourishing snacks. During the gathering, we played an entertaining game where everyone marked the garden with little butterflies and bees wherever they thought pollinators might enjoy visiting!

The sky held out for us through the entire garden tour and gathering, offering only a gentle sprinkle at the very end as we wrapped up a wonderful afternoon together.
