On Friday, July 14th, Geneie Everett & Peter Arnold hosted the first gathering—"Daylilies & Daiquiris." A good crowd of 30 GCW members and friends enjoyed Geneie's guided tour of their spacious gardens on Branch Road in Damariscotta. Geneie's favorite flower is the daylily and many of her 27 varieties were blooming—and Geneie's tall fanciful 'cup-towers' (shown in the second picture) were amazing! These fun garden structures are designed and made by Geneie and Peter and are color-coordinated with the flowers in each garden.
