As I write this, we are about to get our first significant snowfall of the season. Yes, we can’t stop winter from coming but we can enjoy the quietness that blanket of snow brings to our landscape and hopefully to our lives. Sitting back and enjoying a warm cup of your favorite beverage along with the incoming seed catalogs…what more could a gardener want? As the holiday season is upon us, please join GCW for our annual mug and basket-filling activities along with wreath making on Thursday, Dec. 4th at 10:30 am at the First Congregational Church fellowship hall. Bringing a bit of holiday cheer to our community is such a wonderful way to share the holiday spirit. Looking ahead to the new year…our January meeting is Thursday, Jan 8th at noon.
