In Memory of Sandy Sarmanian 1938-2025

This picture was taken on April 21, 2016 at Sandy's Edgecomb home during a plant sale preparation event.

Our long time friend and member of GCW passed away on October 14. Sandy and her husband Jack lived in Edgecomb for many years where she created many beautiful gardens. Her tireless energy was amazing! She worked on our Plant Sale for many years: donating plants, hosting potting days, and enthusiastically advising customers at the Plant Sale.

She and her husband Jack moved to Wells in 2021 into a smaller house where they would be closer to their daughter in Massachusetts. Sandy joined the Seacoast Garden Club soon after moving.

I'm very glad to have a few perennials that she gave me in my garden to remember her.

She will be missed...
