Gardening is what we do for our gardens; Therapeutic Gardening is what gardens do for us.
The GCFM Therapeutic Gardening Program is reorganizing. A series of articles will be included in newsletters and information posted on the GCFM website about each of the Therapeutic Gardens types. The information will include descriptions and central focus of each garden type, including special design criteria, and appropriate therapeutic gardening activities for each of the specialty gardens. In addition, the Therapeutic Gardening Committee is developing Activity Sheets specific to Restorative and Enabling Gardening that can be adapted by interested clubs.
