I was hoping that Spring would be upon us…nope, Winter is stubbornly hanging on with a vengeance! Thankfully, our days getting longer is a positive. Now if I could only warm-up enough to take off the long underwear…
I hope you all have tried the online “SignUpGenius” and filled the spots to the brim. Summer community gardens, library flowers, hostesses and greeters all need your commitment to make our club function. Plus, you get that snazzy hot pink volunteer vest. Who wouldn’t want that in their summer wardrobe!
Looking forward:
March 5th-Seedling Workshop at our monthly meeting
April 2nd-Vernal Pools at our monthly meeting
May 4th-Medomak District Annual Luncheon (more details coming)
May 9th-GCW Plant Sale, all hands-on deck for our 35th Annual Plant sale
June 4th-GCW Appreciation Luncheon (details coming)
June 17th & 18th- 94th Annual GCFM Convention, Bar Harbor, Maine

Don’t think the garden loses its ecstasy in winter. It’s quiet, but the roots are riotous. –Rumi
Growing together,
Sheila
