President's Chirp: June, 2026

Summer is around the corner and GCW is in full bloom! Our community appreciates our club’s efforts in all the ways we beautify the gardens, triangles, median, and planter boxes around Wiscasset and into neighboring towns. This would not happen without your commitment and enjoyment of gardening…THANK YOU!

We are welcoming new members on June 24th at 4 pm at Canny’s house. All members are invited to join in and make these folks feel at home. Seasoned members, please bring a dish to share and a chair to sit upon. Following the welcome, Canny is opening up her garden for her annual Gathering-in-the-Garden.

July 13th brings a floral workshop at the home of Geneie Everett and Peter Arnold. Bring some flowers and a container and let your imagination soar with guided help from some enthusiastic teachers.

Keep on the lookout for some summer field trips that are in the works. Melissa and

Christine are always up for an adventure with a full tank of gas and GCW company to join in the fun.
