The Wiscasset Public Library received a generous $40,000 gift from the Garden Club of Wiscasset last week.
The intent of this gift is to help finance landscape maintenance and landscaping projects. The funds are invested in a new sub-account at the Maine Community Foundation along with other Library investments.
This is a wonderful gift which will enhance the outside of the historic Wiscasset Public Library. On behalf of the Library, the Board of Trustees extends deepest thanks to the Board of the Garden Club of Wiscasset for this very generous gift.
